This policy explains how Ripplebox handles personal information when you visit www.ripplebox.ai. It covers this website only, not the Ripplebox app. We follow the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

Who we are

Ripplebox is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Our contact details are at the end of this page.

What this website collects

This website has no contact form, no account sign in and no newsletter sign up, so we do not ask you for personal information on it. The Empty Chair Calculator works entirely in your browser.

Like every website, it receives some technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for. This is used to deliver the page, keep the site secure and count visits.

Starting your free trial

The free trial buttons take you to a secure checkout page run by Stripe, our payment provider. The details you enter there, such as your name, email address and card details, are collected by Stripe and handled under Stripe's own privacy policy.

Ripplebox receives the details of your sign up from Stripe so we can set up your access to the app, contact you about it and keep the records the law requires. We never see or store your full card number.

If you reached us from one of our ads, the campaign tag in that link (for example the ad's name) is passed on to the checkout page so we can see which ad brought you. It does not identify you.

Visit counting

We count page visits with a simple measurement tool provided by our website partner. It records the page viewed, the page you came from and any campaign tag in the link. It uses no cookies and does not identify you.

We do not use advertising pixels or any tracking for advertising on this website.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this website, for example which pages are read and how people arrive. It loads a moment after the page opens. Google receives the usual technical information about your visit, such as your device, browser, approximate location and the pages you view, and sets cookies to tell visits apart. Google handles this under its own privacy policy.

We do not use Google Analytics to identify you or for advertising. You can stop it with Google's opt out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.

Google preferred source button

The footer shows a button from Google that lets you choose Ripplebox as a preferred source in Google Search. When the footer comes into view, your browser loads this button from Google, which receives the usual technical information about your visit and may use cookies under Google's own privacy policy.

Cookies

This website does not set any cookies of its own. The only cookies that may be set come from Google, through Google Analytics and the preferred source button described above, and from Stripe on its checkout page.

The Empty Chair Calculator remembers the currency you choose, and the campaign tag from an ad link is kept for your visit, both in your own browser's storage on your device. The numbers you type into the calculator are never saved or sent anywhere.

Hosting and security

The website is hosted on Cloudflare, which delivers the pages and protects the site against attacks. Cloudflare processes the technical information of each visit for these purposes only.

Information sent outside Australia

Stripe, Google, Cloudflare and our website partner may store or process information outside Australia, for example in the United States and Europe. Each of them publishes its own privacy commitments.

How long we keep it

Technical visit information is kept only as long as each provider needs it for the purposes above. Purchase records are kept for as long as Australian tax and accounting law requires.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where the law allows. We will reply within 30 days.

If you are not happy with how we handle a privacy concern, please contact us first. If it is still not resolved, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at www.oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the website changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
